Scene 3
Scene 3 takes place on the rooftop of Heartwell tower. As Hayley looks out at the New York Skyline, she remembers herself sitting on the rooftop as a kid, before making a call to her therapist. As she records a voice message we see the mindset that Hayley has at the beginning of the story. She starts to slowly panic as she realises where she is and what she has to do, eventually at the end of a monologue, she manages to briefly calm herself before the voice message abruptly reaches it's limit. Leaving her to watch over the skyline.
Analysis
I really like the idea of this scene and was one of the first scenes I imagined when thinking of the story. The idea of sitting on a rooftop is inspired by more eastern anime imagery for example in Kingdom Hearts.
Verdict
I definitely think this scene suits a motion comic well, there is a lot I can do with the art style and with more simple After Effects movement that I can run on my tablet without overrunning it.
