Introduction to Ellie
Ellie is the little daughter that Hayley's parent had after she ran away. When we first meet Ellie, she's unresponsive, she's a four year old girl who's just lost her parents and she's too young to understand that they're gone. As the story grows, Ellie becomes angrier at Hayley, Hayley's become Ellie's legal guardian but Hayley is dead set on returning to San Francisco where she feels she belongs but Ellie wants to stay in the city she's been raised in and feels connected too.
Introduction to Harry
While Harry and Hayley are actually the same person, I need to look at them as 2 different people in terms of Design. Harry is what Hayley was before transitioning. Harry is angry when we meet him, he knows something is wrong but cant understand what. He has a disconnect with the people around him but everyone plays it off as being a moody teenager.

The Trick to designing Hayley is trying to go against the norms that's have been set when designing characters in animation. Lets look at an example of a female Disney Character In Aurora's design, you can see her feminine qualities amplified, such as her waist or her face shape. My main character, Hayley, wasn't born with these features.

Hayley is my main protagonist for my story, she is a 24 year old Trans-Woman who ran away from her high-class parents in Manhattan when she was 14. 10 years later she is forced to return to New York when she finds out that both her parents have been killed in a car crash and she's been named legal guardian of her 4 year old sister Im going to go through some of the more influences. Mary Ann Singleton-Tales of the City Both Tales of the City and it's main protagonist, Mary Ann Singleton are key influences to my Story. TotC's latest story features Mary Ann Singleton returning to San Francisco many years after she left to pursue a new career. When she returns she meets the friends who missed her, the family she abandoned and the city that both loved and hurt her.
